chrisruizasf A wonderful EP that is as sad as it is beautiful. A great late night listen. Favorite track: Grace.
Andrew
Andrew thumbnail
Andrew An honest EP, showcasing an ambitious and wonderful talent, excited for their future endeavors. Favorite track: Older.
Roberto
Roberto thumbnail
Roberto One track is nice to hear, One track is enough. The other ones are rather repetitive, including how the singer modulates her voice. Favorite track: Older.
Ryan
Ryan thumbnail
Ryan The perfect mix of the honesty of folk music and indie rock. Every track is inventive and moving, and makes for the ideal music on days where the weather isn't that great. Favorite track: Older.
Paul Jacobson
Paul Jacobson thumbnail
Paul Jacobson there’s a sense of longing embedded in each track on "wishlist." tullgren’s music and lyrics are probably best described as raw, exploring why we love, why we hurt others, among many others. the music itself is sparse and lo-fi, as tullgren experiments with different chord progressions and arpeggios. their vocals are twangy at times but incredibly evocative and emotional at others. i’d highly recommend this EP Favorite track: Home.

Indigo bob Roberto, who reviewed above, doesn't know what he is talking about. This EP is fantastic and I listen to it on repeat. The sound is SO lovely for anytime, anywhere. It is this genuinely wholesome feel that is hard to find. I look forward to Miss Lina Tullgren's future work. Favorite track: Older.

Watchdog 05:26
Do you remember it all as the first time I was a dog to chase you Do you remember it all as the first time I was a dog to catch you Sneaking out of my parents house window I was a dog to chase you Didn't come home till the dead of the summer And I was a dog to catch you And now you are so angry And now you won't be my friend Do you remember it all as the last time You were a dog to chase me And I remember it all as the last time You were a dog to hate me Sun it still shines and tides still swell But I'm not in love with you Sun it still shines and grass still grows But I went away And now you are so angry And now you won't be my friend And now you are so angry And now you won't be my friend But why do you still feel like home? Why do you still feel like home? I’ll send, I’ll send the dogs I can send, I’ll send the dogs

Older 04:14
Swing low When you speak, speak low Sing low When you swing, swing low I wonder how you found now that you're older again Give me And scare me with your fears Tell me 'Cause I can't say what I don't hear And I told you when I left this that I'm older now But I wish I didn't have to grow up so fast Leave me Usually I'm better alone Take me Away and leave me at home But I wish I didn't have to grow up so fast Still feel like such a kid Monsters in the closet, they know who I am they know who I am they know who I am Prettiest horses they scream out your name Prettiest horses they scream out your name Tell me what you wanted for christmas Tell me what you wanted for christmas

Wash 03:02
well I'm sorry god for all the hearts i've won for the hearts I've lost I'll burn 'em down and I apologized about a million times I know you love to hear yourself talking I could lay it down and spell it out for you you could listen but you won't comprehend ask me questions now and we could be comrades I'll tell you all the things I said to him and I could try and wash you away but I know what you might say I miss some straight lines under cold blue stars I could meet you now and let you know I'm done playing tough and I'm on a crooked line I didn't want to say goodnight I'm on a crooked line but don't you know that it's just fine? and I could try and wash you away but I know what you might say I don't miss some straight lines

Grace 02:49
My eyes are tired and I’m a liar I wish I had grace but I can re erase I was home alone but I got brighter I can find my home wherever I want it Give yourself some time If I have learned anything it’s this Now I know what it’s like to ruin someone’s life If I have learned anything at all Now I can be open so please give me a call But I can give you time My eyes are tired and I’m a liar I wish I had grace but I can re erase This is how the world all falls down now Memory of a photograph, a memory I just want to be alone, together In my dream you were so mean Give ourselves some time My eyes are tired and I’m a liar I wish I had grace but I can re erase I wish I had grace but I can re erase Feel like I’m on fire but I am just a liar

Home 03:59
I don’t see you And I don’t want to I’ve been thinking out a lot And I have a new someone But if love is just some awesome thing Then why can’t we have all we want? My friend has a broken heart And I want to give it all to her And I said that I wouldn’t be A peach or a pear But you feed me three times a day And I always want to stay And it’s just like Just like coming home And it’s just like Just like coming home Seaport town And I was alone Learn to forget The loves you thought you held And I could cause a scene It was always hard for me Give me all your fears And I will hide the secrets And it’s just like Just like coming home And it’s just like Just like coming home And it’s just like Just like coming home
